Initially the company was established to distribute both American and UK manufactured industrial and hazardous area electrical products, however, Electro-tech has totally evolved in the way they go to market, and now offers their current and potential clients alike a very specialist package indeed.
In April 2006 the company became Limited following its first running as a Sole Trader company, it was at this time that new divisions were born, the source and supply of both Janitorial and PPE products are now part of the companies portfolio.
In addition, the company now offers clients the benefit of using Electro-tech for the supply of more specialist products, along with technical support and installation services.

In electrical engineering, hazardous locations are defined as places where fire or explosion hazards may exist due to flammable gases, flammable liquid–produced vapours, combustible liquid–produced vapours, combustible dusts, or ignitable fibres/flyings present in the air in quantities sufficient to produce explosive or ignitable mixtures.

Electro-Tech (EA) Ltd was formed in 2006 to service the Oilfield & Gas Industry.
In 2018 Electro-Tech Plus was founded to provide Electrical & Technical solutions to the Ministry of Defence and other major operations all over the globe.
Both of these companies operate under the Electro-Tech Group entity
